Caught By The Tides

An enduring but fragile love story shared by Qiao Qiao and Guao Bin, set in China, from the early 2000s to the present day. One day, a restless Guao Bin leaves without any notice to try his luck in another province. Qiao Qiao decides to go looking for him.

Send Me To The Clouds

After working in a big city for several years, 29-year-old journalist Sheng Nan is struck by the fact that she has contracted gynecologic cancer. Branded as a “leftover lady” for being still single, Sheng Nan is stressed at all ends: Her life on the line, her financial burden, and the innate fear that she would lose all sexual pleasure even if the cancer is cured. She is hopelessly watching her chance to live, to love, and to enjoy sex slowly slipping by.

Like Winds, Like Weeds

Separated from her husband for many years, Ms.Zhang, also called “little sister” as she is the youngest among her sisters in the family, lives in the busy city of Shanghai with her only son, far away from her hometown Cangshan. 

“litter sister” not only faces toilsome housekeeping work, her rebllious teenager son, but also now taking care of her elderly dementia mother in the big city. When she had experienced the hardships of life, she chose to return to her hometown, Cangshan, when everything is changed. She found even her hometown has changed its name.

Football On The Roof

In a village deep in the mountains of Yunnan Province, China, a pair of young sisters and a fruit seller who were addicted to alcohol found their mother thousands of miles away. They set up a roof football team to overcome many difficulties for their dreams. On the journey of pursuing their dreams, they hold the light in their hands, bravely fight the exit of fate, and finally grow up against the wind.

The Cord of Life

Mongolian electronic musician Alus is deeply concerned about his mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's and is living like a captive in his brother's apartment. To help her find the home she yearns for, he decides to take her back to the grasslands. In order to prevent her from getting lost, he ties her to himself with a rope, creating a connection reminiscent of an umbilical cord that reconnects him to his mother's thoughts, his hometown, and his native culture.

Through this "inverse" mother-son bond, the two are pulled deeper into the grasslands, where they both find understanding and freedom. The love between them is transformed from a mutual bonding to a more profound connection, leading the mother back to the home of her heart and providing Alus with a sense of peace and the strength to love.

A couple, Luo Yu (played by Xiao Yang) and Bai Hui (played by Song Jia), get involved in a legal dispute over embryo ownership during their divorce cooling-off period, with Luo as a lawyer and Bai as a doctor. As the cooling-off period draws to a close, they gradually gain new insights into themselves, their marriage, and their family

Sonata of Wave

This is a story about bad ending maker. He chose to hand over the self-cutting knife to others and fate with his eyes closed, but the time of chance encounter was so moving. Fate seems to be arranged in the dark, the person he fell in love with still left him, he carried the original sin resolutely began a seemingly aimless and lonely journey, during the journey he re-recorded himself and combed his memory.  In the end, it doesn't matter whether he chooses to let it go or end it.
